amazing stay!

fine room great decor
The room was fine. We got the beautiful superking or twin room! the size was excellent, and the decor was great. breakfast was also very nice, and the staff were really nice too make sure we had everything we needed.
the only slight hiccup was some road noise from the window! it was a bit noticeable at times, especially with traffic passing.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They checked us in early and assisted with luggage, a massive relief after our long drive. Their attentiveness.!!

Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, from a full english to continental choices. The presentation was beautiful, and the quality of ingredients really shone through. Dinner in the pub was also delicious, the food was AMAZING!!!

The hotel offered convenient parking right outside the entrance and the en-suite bathroom was spacious with modern fixtures. A fan was available in the room, it helped a lot on warmer days. We also appreciated the complimentary wi-fi!!!

shabby entrance negative impression
The bus stop for the city was located directly outside making travel convenient.
I found the residents entrance to be quite shabby and needing refurbishment as it did not create a positive first impression I expected.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast each morning included tasty, locally sourced meats and eggs. I appreciated the ample free parking available at the premises.

The room included a fan and an extra oil heater for temperature control if required. It was good in size and beautifully decorated for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the powerful shower with perfect hot water temperature.

There was a good sized car park easily accessible near the entrance. The outside seating area provided a relaxing space. I noticed the beautiful little tweaks in decor throughout the premises , made it visually appealing.

The steak and ale pie was delicious. It melted in my mouth. I found the portions to be generous and quite satisfying. Breakfast options were thoroughly explained and I received a very warm greeting.
